Sagoo
Recipe Ingredients
- Use any two of the following vegetables : Carrot - 200 gms.
- Capsicum - 200 gms.
- Cauliflower - 200 gms.
- Green Peas - 200 gms.
- Tomatoes - 200 gms. 09
- Onions - 200 gms.
- Potatoes - 200 gms.
- Cabbage - 200 gms.
- Green Chilies - 4 - 5 nos.
- Ginger - 2 thin slices
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp.
- Salt -to your taste
- Gram Flour - 2 - 3 tbsp.
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp.
- Lime / Lemon juice - to your taste
- Cilantro - a little
- Finely chop your choice of vegetables, green chilies and ginger. Keep aside.
- Fry mustard seeds, add the vegetables, salt, turmeric powder and saute.
- Pour in a little water (depending on your choice of vegetables) and let it boil on low heat.
- Mix gram flour with a little water to make a thin paste.
- Add this to the cooked vegetables and boil till it becomes thick (porridge consistency).
- Add lime / lemon juice and chopped cilantro.
